Always serve the main course during half-time.
4. FINAL PLAY DESSERT

Make it easy on yourself by having a cooler of drinks available.

Wrap the cutlery in napkins so spectators can grab it all in one play.
7. AVOID THE RUSH
Have food set up at different stations. Appetizers at one, entrees at another and then desserts.
8. AVOID THE FOULS
Spills and accidents will happen. Be prepared.

Have lots of crock pots to keep foods warm so you won't miss the game.

The mainstay of any Super Bowl party is Chili Beans...of course! Below is a great chili recipe that's a little different. It's thick and hearty and you can make it as HOT as you want! Serve in football bowls and clean up will be easy!
Add sandwiches and plenty of chips and dip on a football platter! Keep dessert simple with a variety of cookies and candy. Football fans are always hungry!

Super Bowl Chili (Chipotle Chicken and Rice)
You can substitute ground beef for chicken and tomato juice for water.
Add Hot Sauce as desired or place on side, along with salsa, onions, cheese, and totilla chips. This recipe is quick and easy!
. 1-1/2 lb. boned, skinned chicken breasts
. 1 - 2 teaspoons Chipotle Seasoning (and/or Chili Powder)
. 1 tablespoon Canola Oil or Olive Oil
. Salt to taste
. Pepper to taste
. 1 medium onion sliced into thin rings
. 1 clove garlic, crushed (or garlic powder)
. 1 cup water
. 1/2 cup Salsa
. 1 cup Instant Brown Rice
. 1 - 15.50z. can red kidney beans
. 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Slice chicken breasts into thin strips. Sprinkle with Chipotle Seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a 10" skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken to pan, seasoning side down, then stir fry until chicken is no longer pink. Add onions and garlic, stir fry for 2 minutes. Stir in 1 cup water, 1/2 cup Salsa, and the instant brown rice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 8 - 10 minutes. Stir in kidney beans, cook for 2 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over top, cover and remove from heat. Let sit 5 minutes before serving. Serve with extra salsa, tortilla chips, and shredded cheddar cheese. Serves 4-6.
Ham & Cheese Tortilla Wrap
- Soft tortillas
- Plain or flavored cream cheese
- Ham slices
- Shredded lettuce or lettuce leaves
Spread cream cheese over tortilla. Cover half of the tortilla with ham and lettuce. Spoon on salsa to taste. Roll and enjoy!
